The premium tour is our most complete stargazing experience in San Pedro de Atacama: two hours at our Tulor observatory, with groups of up to 12 people, seven telescopes, a climate-controlled dome for the snack service, professional astrophotography and up to three high-resolution photographs included, under one of the clearest skies on the planet.

The Premium is our most complete experience: groups of up to 12 people, closer attention and two hours designed to live the Atacama sky with all the calm it deserves.
At our Tulor observatory, away from the town lights, the sky opens completely. Telescope observation, astronomical context and the most carefully crafted experience in our range.
What is included
- Seven telescopes: a Celestron Advanced VX 11-inch (computerised equatorial, pre-aligned to the south celestial pole), a Celestron NexStar 4SE, three Unistellar eVscope digital telescopes and two 12-inch Dobsonians.
- Professional astrophotography with a full-frame camera and an f/1.4 prime lens.
- Up to three high-resolution photographs, included at no extra cost.
- A climate-controlled astronomy dome for the snack service — a Tulor-only differentiator.
- A bonfire under the desert sky.
- Guides in Spanish, English and Portuguese.

Our guide, Sergio, provided fantastic explanations throughout the entire tour, making the experience both informative and engaging from start to finish. We visited during a full moon, which naturally limited the stargazing, but we still had a wonderful experience. We’d never seen the moon so close and in such incredible detail. The photographer also did a fantastic job! He was very fun to be around, made us feel comfortable instantly, and gave great advice on different poses and how to get the most out of the photos. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, and the team even surprised my wife with a birthday cake, which made the evening extra special. It was such a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. We highly recommend Atacama Stargazing and would definitely book the tour again! Thank you for this amazing Experience!

Wow — what a spectacular experience!! Being able to book a private tour at the last minute was fantastic, and the booking process was seamless with excellent customer service. The powerful telescopes they use make the stargazing absolutely incredible. The stars are so breathtaking, even to the naked eye. We even saw the Southern Cross with our own eyes! The team is amazing at explaining every telescope and process of how stars are created in a way that’s easy to understand. They are so patient and accommodating to our needs, even moving cameras for those of us who could not easily navigate the sand dune. The wine, juices, pisco, and charcuterie boards are wonderful, and roasting marshmallows by the fire makes is so nice. The photos they took are absolutely stunning. If you book a group tour and the weather doesn’t look like it’s going to cooperate, don’t hesitate to contact them about switching to a private, maybe later in the night tour. It’s not that much more, and it is absolutely worth it! Our tour started very late (midnight), but it was absolutely the best choice. These are photos from an IPhone, not their professional photos and not from a telescope. ✨

It was a wonderful experience to see such a star-filled sky. I enjoyed taking some interesting photos with my own camera, but even if you can't get the perfect shot yourself, you can rest assured because a professional photographer takes high-quality photos for you.
